We had a good experience using AHIS for our home inspection in August of 2015. We were able to schedule our inspection as needed and the report was very detailed(even my realtor was surprised about how much was in the report). Now that we are have been in the house for half a year I can say that all the important details were found in our inspection. We have had no surprises of significance that were missed. Some small things popped up but that is to be expected when buying any house. I would not hesitate to use AHIS again or recommend to anyone.

We first met Ed when he was hired by our buyers to inspect our house. He did such a thorough job that we decided to retain his services for our purchase. On the day of our inspection we learned that Ed is not only detailed, but very knowledgeable. A complete investigation of everything from the basement to the roof was executed, and he didn't miss a thing. Days after the inspection was completed, we had a few questions. They were answered promptly. What I most appreciate about Ed is that he didn't placate to the homeowner (who was present as the inspection began) or to my real-estate agent. He spoke directly to my wife and I and made sure we understood every issue that he discovered. You rarely get what you pay for these days, but when you hire Ed you definitely get your moneys worth.

Ed is by far the most professional person I've dealt with during my first time home buying experience. As others had mentioned before I even arrived to the house the day of the inspection he was already up on the roof. When he came back down he greeted me and showed me the pics of different problem areas he had noticed while up there. His walk through of the house was very detailed. Ed took the time to explain things that maybe a potential problem and how to go about fixing them. I was highly impressed with level of detail his report gave with photos and even some videos.
